The Almost Famous SS12 range takes inspiration from the cult movie south pacific; the key print in this story is a tropical Hawaiian print. An explosion of hot exotic colours such as lime, tangerine, red, coral and royal blue. The key pieces are a Chiffon shift dress with cascading asymmetric ruffles in hot banana yellow. Sitting beside this is a Hawaiian tropical printed maxi skirt teamed with a lime vest. The collection also looked towards the chill wave of the 1960’s for SS12 inspiration; this section has a feel of casual romance. Colours in this story are an amalgamation of mint, pale pink, taupe, dove grey, with undertones of khaki and navy giving it an edge. The key piece in this story is a chiffon draped dress in marshmallow pink with jewelled shoulders.
