Samantha Cameron visit Moda Rosa for Cefinn Launch

February 2019 Samantha Cameron, founder of Cefinn and wife to former Prime Minister, David Cameron visited us to present her latest capsule collection and take part in an informal Question & Answer Session.  Around 70 guests attended the event, with Samantha sharing insights into her life as a successful fashion designer and working Mum as well as her time spent living in Downing Street.

Cefinn, an acronym formed using the initials of the Cameron’s children, was set up in 2017 and has established itself as a mid-priced range of easy to wear day and work wear.  All pieces are designed by Samantha Cameron herself with an emphasis on cut, fabric, fit and wearability.

Samantha Cameron said, “I always wanted to be a fashion designer and enjoyed a 20 year career at Smythson on Bond Street in London designing luxury leather goods.  I was distracted by children and my duties as wife of the Prime Minister for a while, but am now thrilled to be fulfilling my dream, running my own business and designing flattering clothes for real women to be able to wear every day.”

“I am thrilled that my Spring collection is now available at Moda Rosa in Alresford.  I have been so impressed with Rosie Wild and her team who offer discerning customers the most incredible choice that you cannot get anywhere else.  The level of service is exemplary – personable, knowledgeable and very professional.”

Rosie Wild, owner of Moda Rosa said, “The Cefinn collection has already proved to be hugely popular with our customers who love its fresh and contemporary feel.  It was fantastic to have Samantha Cameron visit our shop to meet our team and guests.  It was a really fun afternoon and Samantha was so open in sharing her story and gave us all an insight into the thinking and craftsmanship of her beautiful and very wearable designs.”
