Crafted from exquisitely printed Italian silk crepe and designed in collaboration with British artist Rob Ryan.
Rob Ryan's work explores themes of longing, connection, devotion, and nature. The emblems of birds and locks point toward emotional bonds—moments held safely within something living and growing.
The stunning artwork was created exclusively for Suzannah. He hand-cut the design from paper, then translated it into a unique repeat pattern, expertly printed onto our signature silk crepe in Italy.
Based on the best-selling Gloria silk tea dress silhouette, this style combines elegant, flattering proportions with romantic full-length sleeves, smocking at the empire line and shoulders that capture the 1930s aesthetic. The bias-cut skirt falls to a graceful midi length.
Italian silk habotai lining runs from empire to hemline, with an invisible centre back zip for effortless dressing. Style this dress with soft knitwear and flats for daytime elegance, or pair it with statement millinery and heels for special occasions.

Items must be returned unworn with their original labels attached within 28 days of the purchase date. Moda Rosa cannot accept returned items that have been worn, washed, damaged or tags that have been removed. We offer a free returns service via DHL Express. This policy also applies to orders placed over the telephone.
Alternatively items may be returned via the post office at the senders expense. Returns should be sent to: Returns, Moda Rosa, 35 West Street, Alresford, Hampshire SO24 9AB. We strongly advise you obtain a proof of postage. Moda Rosa cannot be responsible for lost or delayed parcels.
Items may also be returned in person to the shop, but refunds/exchanges can only be processed via our online payments.
For purchases made instore, customers are entitled to an exchange or a credit note within 14 days of the purchase date. Moda Rosa does not offer refunds for instore purchases.
